Flight to Beijing

Our flight ended up being delayed two hours. We met two super nice couples that are adopting too. One couple is with our adoption agency named Chris and Julie. We left the Dallas terminal on a 787 at 12:45 PM.  The plane is only 2/3s full which makes it nice to move around a bit easier. Apparently, the plane we were supposed to take had something wrong with the brake system. 😳 We are traveling throughNorth Dakota,  Canada, Alaska, close to the North Pole, Russia, and  lastly Beijing. We have 6856 miles to go. It doesn't feel like we are traveling 550 mph. Only 14 more hours to go!  One step closer to our baby!! 

Now, to brush up on my mandarin!! 😊

Five hours to go until we land in Beijing. The temperature outside is a whopping -88° Fahrenheit with an altitude of 38000 ft.  Yikes!!
