Jason's 2016 Summer
It's unbelievable how much Jason has grown this summer! He has melded into our family so quickly. He loves his brothers and sisters and they love him. In June, we went on vacation to Orlando, Florida. We went to the beach one of the days we were there. The ocean waves really frightened Jason at first, but he was brave, and got used to them pretty fast. It was so much fun getting to swim everyday at the condo pool. Jason loved getting in the pool and floating around. He was also pretty adventurous and jumped off the side of the pool. We went shopping and tried out some awesome restaurants. It was so fun!
We also visited Uncle Steve in Ohio for a summer cook out! It was fun to play with cousins. We got to ride in a go-cart for the first time.
We took many walks in the park and played on the playground. We also went swimming and spent time playing with our friend, Abigail.
It was so awesome to get to see Jason grow both physically and cognitively. He's such as sweetheart!

Post Surgery
Jason is home and resting peacefully from the surgery. The surgery lasted about four hours. The surgeon, Dr. Cameron Schaeffer, came out to let us know that the surgery was a success. Jason had a cystoscope while under general anesthesia, Chordee release, and first stage repair of the penoscrotal transposition (scrotoplasty arua). Jason has a catheter in and will need to go to the surgeon's office on Monday to remove it. Praise God we are on the other side of surgery. It has been a very trying and emotional day. May God heal this precious little guy quick!!
Pictures!!
Here are a few pictures over the past month or so while waiting to be called back to the surgery room.
